A MEMORABLE VALENTINE'S DAY EXPERIENCE ( Anonymous Submission ) To begin with, this is an anonymous narrative of my unforgettable experience on St. Valentine's Day of last year, 2022! I am a married lady in my late 30s with two children, based in Festac, Lagos. You can call me Paula (my fictitious name for this narrative). After giving birth to my second child (last at the moment) five years ago, I noticed that I had this dwindling desire for sex. My husband also noticed it but we did not take it seriously because firstly, we were not getting younger and almost at the time when I was in my last trimester, he got transferred to Abuja so he came home to us in Lagos only one week in each month. We consulted our family doctor and he kind of blamed it on Post Natal Syndrome (PNS) that in many cases, the sex drive is restored after a short while but if it is not restored, we could consult a sex therapist or couple intimacy coach.
